DESCRIPTION:Starting at 11 am and finishing at 6 pm.\nThe Mud Island members will be back with their stalls\, There will be loads of activities for children and a few artists’ performances.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAgenda\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKIDOKA OKO DOKA\n11am\n \nKidoka Oko Doka\, which means “Resilience\, Be Resilient” in Lingala\, is a series of African traditional dances with live drumming and percussion\, expressing the spirit of resilience in adversity.  Incorporating community based outfits\, face painting of jungle animals and vibrant connection through African ancestral rhythms from Kongo Kingdom and culture\, the result is an incredible interactive show. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCWU BAND\n12pm\n \nIreland’s last remaining trade union Brass and Reed Band\, the Communications Workers Union Band\, was founded by postal workers before 1916\, losing its instruments in the Easter Rising. For over a century\, it has been central to trade union marches and commemorations\, evolving with the labour movement.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nO GRANDE PEQUENO CIRCO\n12pm to 1pm\n \nO Grande Pequeno Circo (The Great Little Circus) is a Lambe-Lambe theatre piece telling the story of a debut artist through a small puppet performance. Lambe-Lambe theatre is a miniature format staged inside a small box\, presenting short stories to very small audiences and creating an intimate connection between artist and spectator. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRICHARD KANE\n12pm to 4pm \nRichard has been performing as a clown since 2010. He is influenced by the silent comedians of early cinema and the anarchic style of 1980s alternative comedy. She is a clown\, director and early years practitioner\, blends theatre\, circus and clowning to explore humanity’s absurdity\, purpose\, fears and desires \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nBRICI\n2pm to 6pm \nThe Imagination Playground is a breakthrough play space concept designed to encourage child-directed free play. The premium quality big blue foam blocks of various shapes – squares\, channel chutes\, balls\, connectors and more – enable children to have hours of fun.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nCUSTARD PIE THEATRE\n2.15pm to 3.15pm\n \nA unique Dublin twist on Punch and Judy\, this family-friendly show follows a mischievous Mr. Punch whose failed attempts at chores lead to hilarious run-ins with the Gardaí. DESCRIPTION:We’re back for the first Repair CLUB instead of Café from 2:30 to 5:30. \nCome along if you want to check or mend your clothes\, bags\, soft toys\, crockery\, jewellery\, bikes and garden tools or knives / scissors. We also always welcome volunteers (skills with sewing\, mending clothes\, jewellery\, bike TLC\, care of garden tools + knives sharpening). \nThe move from a café to a club is that we want to invite DIY enthusiasts to share\, exchange and learn about repair skills and upcycling. \n
