We were delighted to host the launch of Cruinniú na nÓg 2023 earlier this month in the garden. For any newbies, Cruinniú na nÓg is a nationwide day of creativity for young people and each year, I run a free workshop in the garden as part of the nationwide event which falls on Saturday, June 10th from 11am – 12.00pm. This year we’ll be creating colourful mobiles using natural and recycled materials. We’ll use wool wrapped twigs to create a mobile structure from which to hang all sorts of treasures collected from nature.
The workshop is open to children from 5 years and upward and younger children will need a parent or guardian to provide adult supervision for the duration of the workshop. Booking is essential and places are limited so please email me at bredaj@fotofix.ie to book your free place (by Monday 5th June).
