Fundraiser organised by Mudislander Ross Golden-Bannon in aid of the Attracta O’Regan PhD Scholarship for the early detection of ovarian cancer. Partnered with Breakthrough Cancer Research. Attracta O’Regan passed away on 2 July 2023 from ovarian cancer. There is currently no accurate test for the early detection of this type of cancer. In Attracta’s memory, her husband, Ultan Bannon and their family and friends have partnered with Breakthrough Cancer Research to launch a research scholarship targeting the early detection of ovarian cancer.

Celebrate the season (with loads of shelter if it’s a ‘traditional’ Irish summer day!) with friends and family in the picturesque surroundings of Mud Island Community Garden in Dublin 3.
The Great Big Summer Picnic is a family-friendly fundraising event for adults and children. You pre-order your picnic here on Eventbrite and collect it at Mud Island where you’ll also find live music, crafts, a treasure hunt, a raffle and other fun activities from 2pm onwards.
